Cutze Builders is owned and run by Cody Blakeney and his wife — a West Monroe couple who believe a home should be built like it’s your own.
Our Story
From craftsman to custom home builder.
Cody earned his reputation the slow way — on job sites across Ouachita Parish, doing detailed remodel work where there’s nowhere to hide sloppy craftsmanship. That work taught him how houses really go together, and how they fall apart when corners get cut.
For the past several years, that craftsmanship has had a bigger canvas: ground-up custom homes in and around Monroe and West Monroe. Today, new builds are the heart of Cutze Builders — homes designed around the families who live in them, built with the same attention to detail that built our name.
We keep the company deliberately small. No layers of project managers, no sales team — just a builder, his wife, and a trusted bench of local crews and suppliers we’ve worked with for years.
